Job summary

Total Recruitment Support are seeking experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers for a client based in Nottingham. The role offers weekly pay, varied shifts including weekends, and a temp-to-perm pathway.

You will perform 3-4 drops per shift from smaller depots, deliver goods, and assist with loading/unloading. A full UK C+E licence with up to 6 points and right to work in the UK are required.

Qualifications

• A full UK C+E licence is essential for the role.
• Candidates must have the Right To Work in the UK.
• Knowledge of drivers hours and working time directives is required.
• Licence should show no more than 6 points and no disqualifications.

Responsibilities

• General driving duties, adhering to traffic laws and best practice.
• Delivering products on behalf of the client and their customers.
• Assisting with loading and unloading goods.

We have varied start times and shifts including weekends 03:00 & 23:30 start times and weekdays 22:00 - 23:45

3-4 drops / collections per shift from smaller depots

HGV Class 1 Driver Duties:

• General driving duties, observing current legal and best practice


• Delivering product on behalf of our client and their customer


• Assisting with loading and unloading

HGV Class 1 Driver Requirements:

• A full UK C+E licence (essential)


• Excellent driving skills


• No more than 6 points on your licence


• No previous disqualifications (DD,TT,DR,CD,IN)


• ‘Right To Work' in the UK


• Good knowledge of drivers hours and WTD regulations
