HGV Class 1 Driver Needed for Night Shifts - Immediate Starts in Pineham, Northampton - £19/hr

Pure Staff is recruiting for HGV Class 1 Drivers for night shifts in Northampton, working a Monday to Friday pattern.

Shift Details

Pattern: Monday to Friday

Pay Rate: £19.00 per hour (PAYE only). Please note, this rate does not include holiday pay, which is paid separately during annual leave.

Additional Information: Candidates do not pay weekly umbrella margins or payroll processing fees.

Requirements & On-site Procedures

• Site induction, driving assessment, and drug & alcohol tests are required. Passing all three is necessary to be considered for the role.

Driver Responsibilities

• RDC trunking and store deliveries.
• Handball involved for trailer unloading.
• Operate modern, well-maintained trucks.
• Conduct daily vehicle checks.
• Maintain professionalism when dealing with customers.
• Wear PPE (safety boots and high-visibility clothing) at all times.

Shift Timing

Start times range between 18:00 and 23:00. Shifts may last up to 10-12 hours, in compliance with tachograph laws.
