Job summary

Romac Logistics Ltd. is recruiting for HGV Class 1 Drivers based in Newton Aycliffe. The role offers 4 on 4 off or 5 on 3 off shift patterns with a daily rate of £175.00–£195.00. Full training and progression opportunities are provided within a supportive team.

You will load/unload at customer sites, ensure safe driving, and maintain accurate paperwork while delivering excellent customer service. Apply to join our expanding operation.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid UK Class 1 (C+E) licence.
• Hold a valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• Thorough understanding of driver hours regulations (WTD).
• Demonstrates strong work ethic and reliable timekeeping.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload at customer locations using an electric pump truck (PPT).
• Carry out some handball when moving pallets.
• Maintain safe driving practices and complete all paperwork accurately.
• Deliver excellent customer service at each site.

Skills

Valid UK Class 1 (C+E) licence

Valid Driver CPC & Digital Tachograph

Hours & WTD understanding

Strong work ethic & timekeeping
