Job summary

Pro-Drive is recruiting for a Class 1 HGV Driver (C+E) on a temporary ongoing basis in Newcastle-under-Lyme. You will perform multi-drop deliveries and local/regional runs in a modern fleet, with loading/unloading support and occasional handball. Immediate starts available for suitable candidates.

You must hold a valid Class 1 licence with at least two years’ experience, CPC and Tachograph compliance, and a safety-conscious, reliable approach to work.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence.
• Must have held Class 1 licence for a minimum of 2 years.
• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Previous multi-drop or pallet network experience is advantageous.
• Comfortable carrying out manual handling duties.
• Reliable, professional and safety-conscious.

Responsibilities

• Temporary ongoing assignment with regular, consistent work.
• Multi-drop deliveries and collections.
• Local and regional deliveries.
• Curtain-sided trailer work.
• Loading and unloading using a tail lift and pallet truck where required.
• Handball may be involved.
• Completing vehicle checks and all relevant paperwork.
• Delivering excellent customer service while maintaining high safety standards.

Class 1 HGV Driver (C+E) - Temporary Ongoing

Location: Newcastle-under-Lyme

Pay: £16.40 - £18.38 per hour

We're currently recruiting experienced Class 1 (C+E) Drivers for a temporary ongoing position with a well-established, family-run logistics company based in Newcastle-under-Lyme.

The Role

• Temporary ongoing assignment with regular, consistent work
