Logistics People are looking for HGV Class 1 Drivers/HGV Drivers/LGV Class 1 Drivers/LGV Drivers/Class 1 Drivers working on an Ad Hoc – Temporary basis at our Culina Market Drayton depot.

Our customer is one of the biggest names within the HGV industry, with the latest vehicles on the market, providing the best HGV experience and a top-range vehicle to work with.

***NO EXPERIENCE REQUIRED***

Location: Market Drayton, TF9 3SQ

Working Hours:

• 5 On 3 Off PM Shifts Available

About this role:

• Refrigerated work – Transporting goods that need to be kept in a chilled trailer, at a specific temperature. Full training will be provided when operating a chilled vehicle.
• General haulage – Transporting various types of goods from location to location.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any defects or maintenance needs to ensure roadworthiness.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, logbooks, and other necessary paperwork in compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to health and safety regulations.

About You:

• You should hold a valid HGV 1/C+E Licence.
• No more than 6 points and no DD/DR Code convictions.
• Hold a current valid DCPC & Tacho cards.
• Understand and able to comply with Driver’s hours and WTD legislation.
• Able to understand and carry out necessary vehicle checks to ensure vehicle safety and report defects correctly.
• Should comply with on-site health and safety requirements.
