Location: Lochgilphead or Campbeltown, Argyll & Bute

Hours: 39 hours per week, times to suit starting location

Salary: £14.50 per hour, with overtime paid at 1.5 times

The primary responsibility of this role is to operate various vehicles for waste/recyclates transportation, ensuring compliance with Health & Safety standards and contractual obligations with the local authority. Daily vehicle pre-start checks are required.

Your key responsibilities:

• Operate LGV vehicles for waste transportation to landfill
• Adhere to driver hours' rules and transport legislation
• Build good relationships with third-party off-takers
• Ensure compliance with company standards
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness
• Perform weekly wheel re-torque
• Attend operational meetings as needed
• Follow defect reporting procedures
• Keep accurate documentation records

Requirements:
