Job summary

Apex Resources is recruiting experienced Class 1 HGV Drivers (Category C+E) for ongoing work in Liverpool and surrounding areas, with immediate starts available!

We have a range of assignments including trunking, curtainside, general haulage and multi-drop deliveries. Whether you prefer long-distance trunking or delivery work, there could be an opportunity to suit your experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months' Class 1 HGV driving experience.
• Valid Category C+E driving licence.
• Valid Driver CPC qualification.
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
• Good understanding of UK road transport regulations and drivers' hours.
• Reliable, professional and safety-conscious attitude.
• Ability to work independently and deliver excellent service.

Responsibilities

• Drive Class 1 articulated HGV vehicles safely and responsibly.
• Complete trunking and general haulage work.
• Carry out curtainside deliveries and collections.
• Undertake multi-drop deliveries where required.
• Ensure loads are secured safely and correctly.
• Perform daily vehicle checks and report defects.
• Comply with drivers' hours, tachograph and road transport regulations.
• Maintain accurate delivery paperwork and provide professional customer service.
