GXO Logistics is recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 drivers for our Thrapston operation in the UK. This part-time, permanent role involves fixed weekend shifts (Friday-Saturday, Saturday-Sunday, or Sunday-Monday) with consistent start times within a two-hour window.

You'll deliver predominantly palletised store stock to Primark stores, complete up to three deliveries per shift, and handle returns and loading/unloading as needed.

Formación

• Full UK driving licence with C+E entitlement
• Valid Driver Qualification (DQC) and Digital Tachograph Cards
• No more than 6 penalty points
• No DR, DG, DD, BA, CD, AC, LC or TT99 endorsements in last 5 years
• Previous experience driving C+E vehicles is desirable

Responsabilidades

• Take wheel of Class 1 vehicles, deliver retail stock to stores across routes
• Complete up to 3 deliveries per shift with planned routes
• Assist with unloading at delivery points and provide excellent service
• Take ownership of full delivery cycle including returns and recycling materials

Here at GXO Logistics, we're looking for part-time, permanent HGV Class 1 Drivers to join our growing team in Thrapston, working in partnership with one of the UK's most recognisable retail brands, Primark.

You can choose from one of the following fixed part-time shift patterns: Friday & Saturday, Saturday & Sunday or Sunday & Monday. You'll benefit from a consistent shift pattern with start times operating within a 2-hour window, including 04:00-06:00, 05:00-07:00, 06:00-08:00 or 07:00-09:00.

Pay, benefits and more:

• Basic hourly rate of £18.27 per hour
• Additional 10% premium (£1.83) for hours worked between 16:00 and 21:59
• Additional 20% premium (£3.65) for hours worked between 22:00 and 05:59
• Additional 30% premium (£5.48) for all hours worked on Saturday and Sunday
• Overtime paid attime and a halfrateafter 45 hours per week or for an extra shift per week

What you will do on a typical day:

• Take the wheel of Class 1 vehicles, delivering retail stock to stores and helping keep one of the UK's best-known retail supply chains moving
• Complete up to 3 deliveries per shift, transporting predominantly palletised loads while enjoying well-planned routes and a varied day on the road
• Play a key role in ensuring products arrive safely and on time, assisting with the unloading process at delivery points and providing excellent service at every stop
• Take ownership of the full delivery cycle, including returning empty pallets, recyclable materials and store returns back to the RRU, while operating safely, legally and professionally at all times

What you need to succeed at GXO:

• Full UK driving licence with category C+E entitlement
• Valid Driver Qualification and Digital Tachograph Cards
• No more than 6 penalty points
• No DR, DG, DD, BA, CD, AC, LC or TT99 endorsements within the previous 5 years
• Previous experience driving category C+E vehicles is desirable
