Job summary

WR Environmental in Hinckley, UK is seeking an experienced HGV/LGV Driver with Class 1 and ADR certification to join our waste management fleet. The role is based in Hinckley and offers permanent employment with a 40-hour week and optional overtime.

Training is available for non-ADR holders, and we provide a contributory pension, 21 days holiday (plus bank holidays), on-site parking, and ongoing training programmes. ADR licence and certification are desirable.

Qualifications

• ADR Certification required or training provided
• Class 1/LGV driving experience preferred
• CPC and Tachograph knowledge desirable
• Maximum 3 penalty points on licence

Responsibilities

• Drive and operate Class 1 vehicles.
• Operate LGV Class vehicles on callouts and fixed routes.
• Load and unload vehicles as required.
• Complete all administration, paperwork and logbooks accurately.
• Engage with on-site customers and provide excellent service.

Location: Hinckley, UK

Salary: Up to £35,000pa (DOE)

Are you an experienced HGV/LGV Driver with Class 1 and ADR (Packages) Certification, looking to kick-start a new career for an established and growing Waste Management company in a permanent position? This role could be excellent for you!

My client is looking for an experienced ADR Certified Class 1 Driver to join their team based in Hinckley. Non-ADR drivers are welcome to apply - training can be given.

Working Hours: Full Time: Monday - Friday (Guaranteed 40 hours a week) - Overtime and weekend work available.

Requirements

• Driver's CPC and 2 years' experience.


• Tacho Card.


• No more than 3 penalty points on licence.


• ADR Licence and Certification is desirable.


• Previous experience working for a Waste Management or Skip hire company is desirable.
