Job summary

Booker is recruiting Class 1 drivers for our Transport Team at a Booker Retail Partner site. You will be responsible for the safe delivery of stock to independent retailers' stores on a rotating shift pattern.

Roles involve handballing, manual work and operating in weather conditions, with some routes varying daily and start times between 07:00 and 11:00. Training and overtime opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• Class 1 licence held and valid.
• Driver CPC qualification required.
• Ability to deliver excellent customer service.
• Experience with multi-drop deliveries preferred.
• Flexibility with hours and shifts.

Responsibilities

48 hours per week, on rotating shift pattern across 2 weeks, Start times of 0700-1100, More to be discussed upon application.

We're recruiting for Class 1 drivers to join our Transport Team at our Booker Retail Partner site. In this position, you will be responsible for the safe delivery of stock to our independent retailers stores.

Our Class 1 jobs do require handball and manual work which can be a physically demanding. This includes working outside in adverse weather conditions ad handballing product at some of the delivery points.

Routes vary daily and therefore successful applicants will need to be flexible in work and hours of work (including at short notice)
