Job summary

Driver Hire Norwich is looking for Class 1 HGV Drivers in Great Yarmouth. This ongoing temporary or temp-perm role offers competitive rates of £18.00 to £21.00 per hour, plus benefits such as enhanced overtime rates and flexible shifts. Ideal candidates will possess a full UK HGV 1 licence, current CPC, and have prior driving experience. Opportunities for upskilling and regular weekly pay are included.

Qualifications

• Full UK HGV 1 Driving Licence.
• Current CPC and Digital Tacho card.
• Previous 12 months HGV Class 1 driving preferred.
• No more than 6 points of licence, and no disqualifying codes.
• Excellent knowledge of Driving Hours and WTR.

Responsibilities

• Ensure deliveries and collections are completed safely.
• Complete paperwork and adhere to health and safety rules.
• Maintain accurate records of driving and working hours.

Driver Hire Norwich are currently recruiting Class 1 HGV Drivers to work with various clients of ours located in and around the NR Postcode.

The work is ongoing temporary or temp – perm.

As well as driving you will ensure deliveries and collections are completed in a safe and controlled manner, complete paperwork as required and adhere to all on site health and safety rules. Keep an accurate record of driving hours / working hours.

Requirements:

• Full UK HGV 1 Driving Licence.
