HGV Driver - General Haulage

Are you an experienced HGV Driver looking for extra hours and income? We are recruiting for a general haulage role based in Great Yarmouth, working days Monday to Friday, with weekend overtime available.

This temporary, ongoing position offers an immediate start for the right candidate. The successful applicant will register with Driver Hire and complete an induction with the client before starting work.

Duties:

1. Driving Class 1 vehicle on general haulage, ensuring loads are secure and strapped.
2. Completing deliveries safely and efficiently.
3. Filling out paperwork and following all health and safety regulations on site.
4. Maintaining accurate records of driving and working hours.
5. Wearing minimum PPE: Steel-toe caps, Hi Vis, Hard hat.

About you:

• Full UK HGV 1 Driving Licence with current CPC and Digital Tacho card.
• At least 1 year of HGV driving experience and holding your licence for 1 year or more.
• No more than 6 points on your licence, with no CD, IN, DD, or DR endorsements.
• Good knowledge of Driving Hours and WTR regulations.
