Job summary

Ocado Logistics is seeking a C+E LGV driver based at the Erith site to deliver and collect goods across regional sites. The role requires flexible shifts, including nights, late and early hours, with weekends and a minimum 32 hours per week.

Applicants should hold a category C+E licence, have no more than 6 penalty points, and at least 12 months driving experience; LGV experience is desirable. A competitive pay structure and benefits are offered.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and collect goods to and from various locations in line with company policies.
• Work a flexible shift pattern including nights, late and early shifts, with weekends.
• Carry out routes up to 12.5 hours long and regularly perform additional hours as needed.
• Based at Ocado Logistics Erith site, performing duties with a modern fleet.

Job description

The Best HGV job you will ever do! Large Goods Vehicles (LGV) drivers will undertake delivery and collection of products to and from a variety of locations in line with all company policies and procedures. You will be required to work a flexible shift pattern consisting of nights, late and early shifts including weekends. Your minimum contracted hours will be 32 hours, however routes are assigned up to 12.5 hours per day, as such you will regularly be expected to carry out additional hours.

This role is based at our Erith site, Church Manorway, London DA8 1DL. Day-to-day you will collect shopping from our state-of-the-art warehouses and take it to our smaller regional sites. No multi drops or hidden lanes.

What do we need from you?

• A category C+E driving licence
• A maximum of 6 penalty points
• No driving disqualifications in the past 10 years
• Minimum of 12 months experience on your driving licence
• Desirable to have a minimum of 6 months LGV experience

Pay Structure : This position is lunar paid.

• Hourly pay: Basic Rate: £19.20
• Evening premium (18:00-06:00): £2.00
• Sunday Day Premium: £1.74
• Sunday Evening Premium (18:00-06:00): £3.94
• Overtime day rate: £24.00
• Overtime Evening rate (18:00-06:00): £26.50
