Job summary

Ocado Logistics, based at the Erith site, is seeking an experienced LGV driver to deliver and collect products across a network of locations. You will work flexible shifts including nights, late and early hours, with some weekend work and additional hours as routes require.

Minimum 12 months driving licence experience is needed, with LGV exposure desirable. A Category C+E licence and up to 6 penalty points are required, ensuring safe and compliant operation of the fleet.

• No driving disqualifications in the past 10 years.
• Minimum of 12 months experience on your driving licence.
• Desirable to have a minimum of 6 months LGV experience.

Job description

The Best HGV job you will ever do! Large Goods Vehicles (LGV) drivers will undertake delivery and collection of products to and from a variety of locations in line with all company policies and procedures. You will be required to work a flexible shift pattern consisting of nights, late and early shifts including weekends. Your minimum contracted hours will be 32 hours, however routes are assigned up to 12.5 hours per day, as such you will regularly be expected to carry out additional hours.

This role is based at our Erith site, Church Manorway, London DA8 1DL. Day-to-day you will collect shopping from our state-of-the-art warehouses and take it to our smaller regional sites. No multi drops or hidden lanes.

What do we need from you?

Pay Structure : This position is lunar paid.

• Hourly pay: Basic Rate: £19.20
• Evening premium (18:00-06:00): £2.00
• Sunday Day Premium: £1.74
• Sunday Evening Premium (18:00-06:00): £3.94
• Overtime day rate: £24.00
• Overtime Evening rate (18:00-06:00): £26.50
