HGV Class 1 Driver Opportunities

We are currently recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 drivers for an Temporary On-Going role at our busy Droitwich depot. The position involves refrigerated multi-drop deliveries to shops and stores, with 5 to 12 drops per day. The role includes cage deliveries of milk, and some locations require using a tail-lift to push and pull products.

Immediate starts are available after successful assessment and induction.

Potential for permanent positions for successful candidates.

Shift Details

• Start times between 2100 - 0200
• Must be able to work at least one day over the weekend or both days

Pay Rates

• Sunday and Bank Holidays: £23.80
• Sunday and Bank Holidays (special rate): £27.19

Note: 30-minute break deducted per shift.

Daily Duties

• Driving within WTD and EU regulations
• Completing vehicle checks
• Inter-depot and RDC deliveries
• Manual handling of trolleys
• Maintaining high levels of customer service and ensuring timely and complete orders

Candidate Requirements

• At least 6 months of Class 1 driving experience
• UK Driving Licence with Cat C+E entitlement
• Digi & CPC Card; no more than 6 points for minor offences
• Immediate start for successful candidates
