Job Description: HGV Driver

We are seeking an experienced HGV Driver to join our team. The role involves transporting goods across various routes from Corby to customer sites, ensuring safety and efficiency. The position requires strong communication skills, quick thinking, and the ability to handle both palletised and handball deliveries, including Class 2 deliveries when needed.

Location: Northampton, Wellingborough, Kettering, Peterborough

Rate of Pay: £17.93 per hour PAYE Advanced (including holiday pay)

Type of Role: Temp to Perm

Working Days & Shift Pattern: Monday – Friday

Salary When Permanent: £43,000 per annum plus additional bonuses and benefits:

• Handball bonus paid twice annually
• Night out expenses included in salary, with additional pay for extra nights out (£26.20/night)
• 33 days holiday (including bank holidays)
• Company credit card for night out expenses
• Sick pay
• Company pension

Vehicle & Licensing Requirements:

• Valid C+E (Class 1) licence
• Minimum two years of Class 1 HGV driving experience with less than 6 penalty points
• Valid driving license, digicard, and CPC card (preferably up-to-date)
• Physically fit for handball deliveries

Additional Skills & Knowledge:

• Excellent knowledge of the UK road network
• Safety-first mindset
