Job summary

Kinaxia Colwyn Bay is recruiting HGV Class 1 Drivers to join our growing operation in Colwyn Bay. Expect typical earnings of £43,000 per annum, with bonuses and overtime. The role runs Monday to Friday with monthly pay and a company pension, in a modern fleet.

You will trunk to the Midlands across our national network, adhering to safety standards and company procedures while representing Kinaxia professionally.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
• No more than 6 points on licence
• Strong communication skills and professional attitude
• Ex-forces backgrounds encouraged

Responsibilities

• Operate a Class 1 vehicle safely, legally and efficiently
• Complete deliveries and collections to schedule and standard
• Conduct daily vehicle checks and report defects promptly
• Comply with EU Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive
• Maintain accurate records and liaise with transport team
• Act as a professional ambassador for Kinaxia Colwyn Bay

You'll be trunking to the Midlands area, operating well‑maintained vehicles to complete timed deliveries and collections across our national network.

• 30 days' holiday (including bank holidays)

Your Responsibilities

• Operate a Class 1 vehicle safely, legally, and efficiently
• Complete all deliveries and collections to schedule and standard
• Conduct daily vehicle checks and report defects promptly
• Follow company procedures and ensure full compliance with EU Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations
• Maintain accurate records and work in partnership with our transport team
• Act as a professional ambassador for MTT at all times

Candidate Requirements

• Valid C+E (Class 1) licence
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
• Strong understanding of EU Drivers' Hours and WTD legislation
• No more than 6 points on licence (no TT, DD, or DR codes)
• Professional, safety‑first mindset and excellent communication skills
