Job summary

Kinaxia Carlisle is seeking an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver in Carlisle on a permanent basis. You will deliver and collect goods, provide excellent customer service, and work within a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence.
• In-date CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Good understanding of EU Driver Hours and Road Transport Regulations.
• Customer-focused attitude with excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work safely, responsibly, and independently.

Responsibilities

• Completing customer deliveries and collections across various locations.
• Operating HGV Class 1 vehicles in a safe and professional manner.
• Conducting daily vehicle safety checks using our mobile app.
• Reporting any vehicle defects promptly.
• Maintaining regular communication with the Transport Team regarding delays, incidents, or operational issues.
• Ensuring compliance with all driver hours, road transport, and health and safety regulations.
• Representing Kinaxia professionally when interacting with customers and colleagues.

Salary & Earnings

OTE from £39,000 per year

17:30-19:30 Monday to Friday

About The Role

As an HGV Class 1 Driver, you'll be responsible for delivering and collecting goods safely, efficiently, and on time while providing excellent customer service throughout your journey.

Your Responsibilities

• Completing customer deliveries and collections across various locations.
• Operating HGV Class 1 vehicles in a safe and professional manner.
• Conducting daily vehicle safety checks using our mobile app.
• Reporting any vehicle defects promptly.

What We're Looking For

Essential Requirements

• Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) Licence
• In-date CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
• Good understanding of EU Driver Hours and Road Transport Regulations
• Customer-focused attitude with excellent communication skills
• Ability to work safely, responsibly, and independently

Preferred Experience

• Minimum 12 months' UK HGV Class 1 driving experience
• No more than 6 penalty points
• No TT, DD, or DR endorsements
