Job summary

Raymond Brown Haulage Ltd is seeking skilled HGV C+E drivers to join our transport team, delivering goods safely and efficiently across multiple locations.

You will perform vehicle inspections, plan routes, maintain records, and communicate with the office and customers while upholding high safety and service standards. Flexibility for long hours and varied start times is required.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV C+E (Class-1) licence.
• Driver CPC qualification.
• Proven experience as an HGV C+E driver (ideal but not essential).
• Clean driving record with no major offenses.
• Flexibility to work long hours and travel to different locations.

Raymond Brown Haulage Ltd are seeking skilled and experienced HGV C+E (Class-1) Drivers to join our team. As an integral part of our transport department, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting goods across various locations.

Overview.

Responsibilities.

• Safely operate and drive HGV C+E vehicles to deliver goods to designated locations
• Adhere to all traffic regulations and company policies to ensure the safety of yourself and others on the road
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure its roadworthiness
• Communicate effectively with the office team and report any incidents or issues that may arise during the transportation process
• Maintain accurate records of hours driven, miles covered, and goods delivered
• Ensure the timely and secure delivery of goods to customers and maintain a high level of customer service at all times.

Qualifications.

• Valid HGV C+E (Class-1) licence
• Driver CPC qualification
• Proven experience as an HGV C+E driver (ideal but not essential)
• Clean driving record with no major offenses
• Strong understanding of vehicle maintenance and road safety regulations
• Excellent communication and customer service skills are a must
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Flexibility to work long hours and travel to different locations as we operate within the events industry so therefore start & finish times are varied.

Day-to-day.

• Conduct regular vehicle inspections and perform necessary maintenance.
• Plan routes and ensure timely delivery of goods.
• Communicate with the office team and customers to provide updates on delivery status as well as high standards of safety and professionalism while representing the company.
