Job summary

Westwood Recruitment is seeking reliable HGV Class 1 drivers (C+E) to operate a curtain sided truck on general haulage routes. Mon to Fri with varying start times, days and nights available.

Duties include safe operation, trunking to multiple sites, routine vehicle checks, and strict adherence to driving hours and health and safety standards.

Requirements: valid HGV Class 1 license with a clean record (no more than 6 points) and good communication skills; ability to work independently.

Job description

We are seeking a reliable and experienced HGV Class 1 Day and Night drivers (C+E) Drivers to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating an HGV Class 1 (C+E) Truck to deliver General Haulage efficiently and safely across designated routes. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a background in driving HGV Class 1 vehicles. PAYE Pay rates

• £17ph Days basic / overtime £25.00 - Holidays accrued
• £19.05ph basic / overtime £28.57 - Holidays included
• £18ph Nights basic / overtime £27ph- Holidays accrued
• £20.17ph basic / overtime £30.25ph- Holidays included
