HGV Class 1 Day Driver Needed - Immediate Start

Location: Pineham, Northampton

Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday, Day Shifts

Pay Rate: £17.00 per hour (PAYE only, excludes holiday pay which is paid separately)

Pure Staff is recruiting for an HGV Class 1 Day Driver for ongoing work. Candidates do not pay weekly umbrella margins or payroll processing fees.

Requirements include:

• Site induction, driving assessment, and drug & alcohol test (must pass all three)
• Valid HGV C+E License
• At least 2 years’ experience
• Valid CPC and Digital Cards
• Clean license with no more than 6 points (no TT, TS, MS, DR, DD codes)

Responsibilities include:

• RDC trunking and store deliveries
• Assisting with unloading trailers (handball)
• Driving modern, well-maintained trucks
• Performing daily vehicle checks
• Maintaining professionalism with customers
• Wearing PPE (safety boots and Hi-Vis) at all times

Start times vary between 06:00 and 09:00. Shifts may last 10 to 12 hours, in compliance with tachograph law.
