Job summary

Drivers Today is recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 container drivers for regular, long-term work based in Walsall.

You will be completing local Class 1 container movements from the Walsall area. Drivers must be confident handling containers and completing all necessary vehicle and load checks. PAYE including holiday pay or LTD, £20.00 per hour, no dock work.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) licence.
• Valid Driver CPC.
• Digital tachograph card.
• Previous container-driving experience essential.
• Two years’ Class 1 driving experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complete local Class 1 container movements from the Walsall area.
• Conduct vehicle and load checks and paperwork.
• Ensure safety and compliance on all moves.
