The Best Connection - Manchester is seeking an experienced Class 1 Container Driver to join their Trafford Park team in Manchester. You will be responsible for safe container collection and delivery, driving an HGV Class 1 vehicle, and ensuring loads are secured and checked daily.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 1 / Category C+E driving licence.
• Valid Driver CPC.
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
• Minimum 2 years' commercial Class 1 (C+E) driving experience.
• Ideally at least 1 year's container driving experience.
• Maximum of 6 points on your driving licence.
• No major driving endorsements (IN/DR codes).
• Must be 25 years of age or over.
• Good knowledge of driver hours and tachograph regulations.
• Professional and reliable approach to work.

Responsabilités

• Safe collection and delivery of containers.
• Driving an HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) vehicle.
• Completing collections and deliveries each day.
• Safely securing containers and loads.
• Carrying out appropriate vehicle checks.
• Ensuring all deliveries and collections are completed safely and professionally.
• Following all relevant drivers' hours, Working Time Directive and road safety requirements.
