Job description

HGV – Class 1 relief driver

We are looking for class 1 drivers within the Bath, Shepton Mallet, and Bristol area to step in as relief drivers on an ad-hoc basis.

Shift patterns may vary (typical shifts include nights starting at 18:00).

We prefer drivers seeking a few days of work per week to fill gaps in our client’s planner.

You may be called upon to fill a shift as needed.

What we are looking for:

• Class 1 licence
• Flexible schedule
• Experience driving nights / heavy goods
• Valid and in-date CPC licence
• Availability for days, nights, and weekends
• Patterns range from ad-hoc (day here and there) to full-time roles (temp to perm)

Role details:

Our positions can vary day to day, but we mainly seek Class 1 night drivers with curtainsider and tanker (non-ADR). We also have opportunities for Class 2, 7.5t, and van drivers, often involving trunk runs to and from main depots.

Pay rates:

• Competitive pay rates
• Class 1 (C+E): from £17.00 per hour for day shifts
• Up to £20.00 per hour for night shifts
• Paid weekly, every Friday
