Summary

Jack Richards is looking for professional Class 1 (C+E) Day & Night Drivers to join our well-established, family-run haulier. We have various Day and Night Shifts available, please see below.

** Note: We are not accepting applications from Newly Qualified Drivers with less than 12 months’ Commercial Class 1 (C+E) experience **

** You must hold a valid LGV/HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence, a UK digital tachograph card, and a full DQC (CPC card). **

Role involves

• Ensuring vehicles comply with legal requirements and reporting issues to your DC team
• Ensuring the security and accuracy of load deliveries
• Following delivery instructions accurately
• Driving safely and efficiently
• Adhering to health and safety standards, The Highway Code, and vehicle regulations

In return, you will get

Days

• 5/6 Days (Monday start): c. £43,300 + Bonuses
• Tuesday to Saturday Days: c. £41,400 + Bonuses
• Monday to Friday Days: c. £40,300 + Bonuses

Nights

• 5/6 Nights (Monday start): c. £45,200 + Bonuses
• Tuesday to Saturday Nights: c. £41,700 + Bonuses
• Monday to Friday Nights: c. £40,600 + Bonuses

The above figures include

• Enhanced Rates after 10 hours
• up to £10 per day tax-free meal allowance
• £6 per shift worked retention bonus (approx. £1,300–£1,500 p.a.)
• Company pension
• 13 payments per year (every 4 weeks)
