Job summary

The Best Connection is seeking a HGV Class 1 (C+E) Driver for Sutton Coldfield, Birmingham. This part-time role offers day or night shifts, with start times from 06:00–09:00 for days and 18:00–23:00 for nights, and 8–9 hour shifts across Monday to Sunday.

Responsibilities include 1–2 deliveries within the Midlands with no heavy lifting, as stock is forklifted off. PAYE weekly pay and pro-rated annual leave accompany pension contributions and online payslips.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 1 (C+E) Licence.
• Valid CPC Card.
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card.

Shift Pattern:

• Day & Nights Shifts Available
• Shifts Available - Monday to Sunday
• Day Start Times - 06:00 to 09:00
• Nights Start Times - 18:00 to 23:00
• Shift Length - 8 to 9 Hours

Position Overview:

We are looking for Class 1 (C+E) Drivers to work with our client based in Sutton Coldfield, Birmingham. This role involves:

• 1-2 Deliveries, either 1 distance delivery or 2 within the Midlands
• No heavy lifting, stock is fork lifted off
• Shifts available Monday to Sunday

Pay Rates:

• Class 1 Driver Days - £16.00 per hour
• Class 1 Driver Nights - £18.00 per hour
• Weekly Pay (PAYE)
• 28 days paid annual leave (pro-rata)
