Job Description:

Jack Richards is looking for a professional Class 1 (C+E) Day Driver or Tramper to join a well-established, family run national haulier based in our King’s Lynn Depot.

** We will consider applications from Drivers with at least 6 months’ Commercial Class 1 (C+E) Driving experience **

Preferred Experience:

• Curtainside Trailers
• Timber

** You must hold a valid LGV/HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence, digital tachograph card, and full DQC (CPC card). **

Role involves:

• Ensuring vehicles meet legal requirements and reporting issues to your DC team
• Ensuring the security and accuracy of loads
• Following delivery instructions precisely
• Driving safely and efficiently
• Adhering to health and safety standards, The Highway Code, and vehicle regulations

In return, you will get:

• Mon to Fri Tramper (1 in 3 Sat): approx. £45,500 + Bonuses
• Mon to Fri Days (1 in 3 Sat): approx. £35,700 + Bonuses
• £6 per shift worked Retention Bonus (max. approx. £1,450)

The above includes:

• Enhanced rates after 10 hours
• Up to £10 daily meal allowance (tax-free)
