Solvit Recruitment are seeking a HGV Class 1 ADR Driver based in Leicester. The role runs Monday to Friday with potential weekends; overtime paid after 40 hours. A curtainsider operation and hazardous waste transport experience are required, along with ADR, CPC and Tacho qualifications.

Temp-to-perm after an initial 13 weeks applies. Benefits include pension, private medical and dental insurance; on-site parking; and a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.
• Tanker driver experience with ADR compliance.
• 2 years C&E experience; CPC and Tacho.
• Excellent oral and written communication.
• Complete all paperwork and regulatory compliance.
• No DR, DD, TT or IN10 on license.

Responsibilities

• Deliveries and collections throughout the day.
• Ensure loads are secure and curtains are closed.
• Plan nights out with prior notice when required.
• Maintain compliance with all hazardous waste transport regulations.

Solvit Recruitment are looking for HGV Class 1 ADR Driver.

This is not temporary role.

Temp to Perm weekly pay for the first 13 weeks.

Location Leicester.

You will have the opportunity for an Interview where you will meet the team learn more about the role and have the opportunity to ask your own questions.

Working for a UK market leader for hazardous and specialist waste who operates a Total Waste Management division, which offers a full-service solution from site visits and sampling to container supply and transportation.

Working Monday to Friday start times between 04:00 – 07:00 with the option of weekends when required. Overtime paid after 40 hours per week.

You will have deliveries and collections throughout your working day you will have a curtainsider where you will make sure the load is secure and close the curtains; every day will be different, planned nights out required, which you will get prior notice.

Ensuring full compliance with all current regulations concerning the transportation of hazardous waste materials.

Rate of Pay:

• Monday to Friday £16.50 over time paid after 40 hours at £24.75
• Saturday £24.75
• Sunday £33.00

Flexibility needed as you may be required to driver the Class 2.

Requirements
