SolviT Recruitment Ltd in Leicester is seeking a HGV Class 1 ADR Driver for a full-time role with temp-to-perm potential after 13 weeks. Typical shifts start between 04:00 and 07:00, with some weekend nights out required and overtime paid after 40 hours.

You'll handle deliveries and collections with a curtainsider, ensure loads are secured, and maintain compliance with hazardous waste transport regulations. Benefits include health and wellbeing programs and pension options.

Qualifications

• 2 years C&E experience.
• In date ADR certificate.
• CPC and Tacho valid.
• No DR, DD, TT or IN10 allowed.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.
• Follow all traffic laws and regulations.
• Complete all paperwork accurately.
• Deliveries and collections across daily routes.
• Ensure load is secure in curtainsider and manage night-out planning.

Solvit Recruitment are looking for HGV Class 1 ADR Driver.

This is not temporary role.

Temp to Perm weekly pay for the first 13 weeks.

Location Leicester.

You will have the opportunity for an Interview where you will meet the team learn more about the role and have the opportunity to ask your own questions.

Working for a UK market leader for hazardous and specialist waste who operates a Total Waste Management division, which offers a full-service solution from site visits and sampling to container supply and transportation.

Working Monday to Friday start times between 04:00 – 07:00 with the option of weekends when required. Overtime paid after 40 hours per week.

You will have deliveries and collections throughout your working day you will have a curtainsider where you will make sure the load is secure and close the curtains; every day will be different, planned nights out required, which you will get prior notice.

Ensuring full compliance with all current regulations concerning the transportation of hazardous waste materials.

Rate of Pay:

• Monday to Friday £16.50 over time paid after 40 hours at £24.75
• Saturday £24.75
• Sunday £33.00

You wil be driving the Class 2 and on occassion you will be on the class 1 so flexability is required.
