Job summary

IDrive Recruitment Ltd. is seeking experienced Class 1 and Class 2 HGV drivers in Luton for day and night shifts. Roles involve pre/post vehicle inspections and driving to meet delivery schedules with dispatchers. Competitive hourly rates range from £16 to £20 per hour, with shifts available across the week.

Qualifications

• Clean full UK Driving Licence with no more than 9 points.
• CPC (Drivers Qualification Card)
• Tachograph Card
• Right to work over 20 hours p/w
• Experience operating a Class 1 or Class 2 vehicle safely

Responsibilities

• Confident Class 1 or Class 2 driver
• Perform a complete pre- and post-operation inspection of the vehicle
• Report any safety issues on standard reports
• Follow delivery schedules and interact with dispatchers to complete the job to a high standard
• Follow all required safety policies and procedures
