Job summary

Sure Call Recruitment & AFE Recruitment is seeking an HGV Class 1 Driver to operate from the Northampton depot, covering trunk routes and multi-drop deliveries to retail stores. You will be responsible for secure load transport and adherence to delivery schedules.

The role offers flexible shifts and weekend opportunities, with emphasis on safety, clean driving record, and compliance with CPC and Tachograph requirements. Daventry area is a key location for this position.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 1 driving license, CPC card, and Tachograph card.
• Minimum 1–2 years of commercial driving experience.
• Clean driving record (maximum 6 points, no major endorsements).

Responsibilities

• Transport loads on trunk routes between retail stores and depot locations.
• Engage in trunking and multi-drop deliveries.
• Flexible shift times; Monday to Friday and weekend shifts available.
• Daventry area and surrounding locations are the primary work sites.
