Job summary

Workforce Staffing Ltd. is seeking an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver for Redditch, delivering shuttle runs between local sites with journeys typically under 50 minutes. Monday to Friday starts at 07:00; full-time, temp-to-perm opportunity.

No loading or unloading required, but strict adherence to tachograph laws, safety procedures and pre/post vehicle checks is expected. Local routes with home every night and ongoing, consistent work are provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year HGV Class 1 (C+E) experience.
• Valid Class 1 licence, CPC and Tacho Card.
• Reliable and professional attitude.
• Strong awareness of health and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Short runs between local sites and no loading/unloading.
• Follow site safety procedures and schedules.
• Operate in tachograph-compliant and working time directive.
• Perform pre/post vehicle checks.

The Role

Workforce are currently recruiting an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver to join a busy operation based at the Redditch Recycling Centre.

This role involves straightforward shuttle runs between local sites, with journeys typically lasting no more than 50 minutes. If you're looking for reliable weekday work with no manual handling, this could be the perfect opportunity.

• Working within accordance of tachograph laws and working time directive
• Pre/post vehicle checks

What we are looking for
