Job summary

JT Recruit are currently looking for an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver to join a well-established transport operation based in Derby (DE24). This is a fantastic opportunity for a reliable driver looking for consistent, ongoing Monday to Friday work with competitive day rates.

What the role involves: completing daily vehicle checks and ensuring loads are secure; delivering goods to various sites; day-to-day driving with typical start times between 05:00 and 08:00; flexibility for occasional night

Qualifications

• HGV Class 1 licence with current CPC and Digi Tacho.
• Moffett training is optional with training provided.
• Professional attitude with good understanding of driver hours and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day driving with start times between 05:00 and 08:00.
• Occasional night out may be required in a worst-case scenario.

• Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday, days

• Prior Moffett experience is a massive bonus, but it is not essential. If you don't have it, full training can be provided for the right candidate.

• A professional attitude with a good understanding of driver hours and regulations.
