HGV CE Class 1 Driver

Job Title: HGV/LGV C+E Class 1

Location: Park Royal NW10 7UD

Salary: £22.69 ph to £25.60 ph.

Pertemps are working in partnership with the Royal Mail, the UK's designated Universal Postal Service Provider to recruit HGV/LGV C+E Class 1 Drivers. If you are looking for work, then look no further, as our onsite team across the country are looking for Drivers to start work immediately.

As an HGV Driver, after successfully completing an assessment, you will be required to trunk parcels and mail between depots across the Royal Mail Network. There is very little manual work and shifts are offered 1 week in advance. We have competitive pay rates and an array of start times and days available to suit. We are keen to speak to any Drivers able to work weekends or start in the afternoon into the evening.

To meet entry requirements, you will have:

1. Held your licence for a minimum of 2 years with no more than 5 penalty points.
2. A minimum of 180 days driving experience within the last 2 years.
3. No more than 10 infringements over a 12-month period.

We are unable to accept any DD, DR, IN or CD endorsements.

Due to the nature of our client's business, you will be required to clear a CRB security check following the point of registration.

In return, HGV Drivers will receive:

1. Pay rates - £22.69 ph. to £25.60 per hour depending on shift start/finish time and location.
2. Minimum daily hours guaranteed.
3. Option to lock into desired shift pattern following successful completion of driving assessment.
4. Accrued holiday pay.
5. Access to pension (PAYE).
6. Local agency office/consultants based onsite.
7. Weekly pay.
8. Onsite canteen facility.
9. Onsite car parking.
