Job summary

The Ashcourt Group is seeking experienced HGV drivers to join our expanding fleet in Newton Aycliffe. You’ll operate HGV Cat C vehicles safely, plan routes with your line manager, and complete logs and inspections using a tablet as part of a supported, growing team.

We offer a fixed schedule of 40 hours per week with overtime after 45 hours at £21.375 per hour. Requirements include a valid HGV Cat C license, CPC/Tachograph card, and right to work in the UK.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Cat C license
• CPC and Tachograph card
• Minimum 1 years’ experience driving tippers
• No more than 6 points on your license
• Right to work in the UK

Responsibilities

• Operating HGV Cat C vehicles safely and professionally
• Driving local and long-distance routes as required
• Planning and adapting routes with your line manager
• Conducting daily vehicle checks and keeping your cab clean
• Completing logs and inspections using a tablet
