Job summary

A recruitment agency is seeking Class 2 Delivery drivers for weekday work in Sheffield. The role involves performing vehicle checks, completing paperwork for deliveries to properties in South Yorkshire, and debriefing with the transport office. A HGV 2 entitlement, digital tachograph card, and valid CPC card are required. Competitive hourly rates offered.

Job Description

We are currently looking for Class 2 Delivery drivers to work out of a distribution yard in Sheffield.

Your runs will be to cover deliveries leaving from the depot in Intake, Sheffield to Commercial and Domestic properties in and around South Yorkshire.

On arrival you will need to perform your vehicle checks, you will get all relevant paperwork completed before making your deliveries, once back to the Depot in Intake, you will debrief with the transport office

Hourly Rate: Monday to Fridays are paid at £19.96 ph or £16.00 per hour PAYE, with shifts expecting to last 10 hours.

Working Hours: This role is week day work with start times of 06:00

Experience & Qualifications

For this position you will need to have the following:

• A HGV 2 (LGV C) entitlement
• A digital tachograph card
• Valid CPC card.
