Thames Water Utilities Limited is seeking an HGV Biosolids Driver to operate Class 1 or Class 2 vehicles, delivering Bio Recycling services at Thames Water sites and external locations. You will join a team focused on safety, efficiency, and compliant operations.

The role requires a full CPC, tachograph card, and knowledge of transport laws, with rotating shifts (4 on, 4 off) at Crossness STW, Abbey Wood. A Loader licence and tipping lorries experience are advantageous, with a strong emphasis on

Qualifications

• Experience as a Class 1 or Class 2 HGV driver is essential for deliveries and plant movements.
• Front-end Loader licence holder would be beneficial.
• Experience tipping lorries will be beneficial.
• Experience delivering to farms or agricultural sites is desirable.
• No more than 6 penalty points and no DR or IN convictions on your licence.
• A full Driver CPC and a valid Driver Tachograph card are required.
• Demonstrate knowledge of Transport Law and the Road Traffic Act.
• Knowledge of Drivers' Hours rules and Working Time regulations.

HGV Biosolids Driver Job Description

As an HGV Driver, you will be required to drive and operate vehicles and plants to the greatest profitability and efficiency to deliver the Bio Recycling service within Thames Water sites and to external locations. To enter deliveries to the cake logging system as appropriate.

Within this role, you will be safely operating vehicles associated with Bio Recycling services at Thames Water sites and external locations, working collaboratively with other Thames Water employees across our sites to aid the efficient delivery of Bio Recycling's activities.

HGV Biosolids Driver Job Details

• 38.5 hours per week, working a rotating shift pattern.
• This position is based in the Crossness STW, Abbey Wood site
• Full training and an excellent wider benefits package.

Salaries:

• Shifts between Monday to Sunday Days (4 on 4 off) - Class 1 - £38,842
• Shifts between Monday to Sunday Days (4 on 4 off) - Class 2 - £36,313

What should you bring to the role?

The essential criteria to help you succeed in this role are:

• Experience as a Class 1 or Class 2 HGV Driver is essential for deliveries and plant movements.
