Operating from Rainham and travelling throughout the UK, you will be required to operate as part of a team, working alongside other Engineers, fulfilling works for major oil companies & independent customers in the Forecourt Services division. You will be responsible for ensuring systems are working correctly, identifying root causes, and providing customers with long-term solutions.

The duties of this position include a high degree of manual work required when cleaning site drainage and tank systems to ensure compliance with EA Guidelines/regulations.

More about the role:

• Operate as part of a one/two person team to perform and deliver site tankering works, including jetting, drain cleaning, interceptor cleaning and servicing, and reactive works on petrol filling stations and distribution centres.
• Respond to and manage call outs for critical issues.
• Carry out Near miss & potential incident reporting. In-house training will be provided.
• Liaise with customers on site to discuss ongoing works and additional services of the company.
• Maintain a clean vehicle and ensure all equipment, tools, PPE, and other work items are in good condition, well-maintained, and available at all times. Report any damages immediately to supervision.
• Complete all works paperwork and submit it promptly to divisional supervision.
• Liaise with supervision regarding all works and suggest improvements or opportunities.
• Perform any other duties for which you are qualified and capable.
