Job description

Driver Hire Kettering is currently looking for a CAT C1 Driver for a well-established white goods company based in Wellingborough.

The role:

1. The role involves the delivery and installation of home appliances to customers’ homes in a 7.5T vehicle (training will be provided on installation, only if a permanent position is offered).
2. Routes can be single or double-manned. Equipment is provided to assist with lifting, but all candidates need to be physically fit for this role.
3. Personality and attention to customer service are essential.

Working hours and pay:

1. Monday to Saturday (5 shifts out of 6 days on rota basis).
2. Minimum 8-hour shifts, with longer days if busy.
3. First 8 hours: £13.00 per hour (PAYE) / £14.57 per hour (PAYE Advanced).
4. Overtime after 8 hours: £15.00 per hour (PAYE) / £16.81 per hour (PAYE Advanced).

Requirements:

• Valid C1 licence (7.5T).
• Valid Tachograph & CPC.
• No more than 6 Points or Major Offences.
• Minimum of 12 months 7.5T driving experience.
• Customer-service orientated.
