Job description

7.5t / HGV 2 Driver
Location: Basingstoke

Staffing Match is proud to be working in partnership with our client based in Basingstoke who are looking for 7.5 tonne / HGV 2 drivers to join them on a long term / temp to perm basis. Start your new job in 2025!

Shifts and pay rates as a 7.5t driver:

1. Days 07.00am start until finish.
2. Rota 5 days on 3 days off rolling. (requiring only 2 full weekends in an 8 week rotation)
3. £14.50 p/h paye or £17.81 p/h Umbrella

Your responsibilities:

1. Duties include driving a 7.5t vehicle, working with an experienced driver's mate or driver.
2. 2-man crew delivery of goods to customers' homes or flats.
3. Unloading goods and delivering to room of choice.
4. Completing paperwork.
5. Heavy lifting is involved.

About you:

1. Have a 7.5t licence or above, CPC and Digi card.
2. Have excellent customer service & communication skills.
3. Be able to work long days as required. We cannot specify what time you will finish.
4. You will need to have a DBS and drug and alcohol test before you start, we will arrange this.
5. No more than 6 penalty points or disqualifications, no DR, DD, TT's or IN10's.
