Class 2 (Cat C) Driver – 4 Month Contract

Location:Edinburgh

Driver Hire Edinburgh City are looking for aClass 2 (Cat C) Driverto support our client through their busy season in Edinburgh. You will be working between 3 depos all based within Edinburgh. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced driver with a background in operating vehicle-mounted remote control systems. Full HIAB training will be provided prior to the commencement of employment

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver building materials toresidential and commercial sitesacross Edinburgh and surrounding areas.
• Carry outdaily vehicle checksto ensure safety and compliance.
• Operate aremote HIAB vehicle—experience in the building industry is beneficial.
• Afull client inductionwill be provided before work begins

Requirements:

Candidates must have:

• Category C licence
• Avalid CPC card
• Adigital tachograph card
• No more than6 penalty points(CD, DD, DR, and IN endorsements cannot be accepted due to insurance restrictions)

Pay & Benefits:

Different pay options available (Call the office for more info)

• £18.49 per hour(advanced holiday pay)
• £16.50 per hourPAYE (basic)
• £21.99per hourPAYE (overtime after 8 hours per day)
• Minimum 8 hours paid per shift
• Weekly paywithholiday accrual on every shift
