Job summary

A recruitment agency is seeking an experienced HGV Class 2 driver for ongoing full-time work in Leicestershire. The role involves driving a refuse truck and supporting a team in waste collection. Candidates should have relevant driving experience and hold a valid Cat C licence. This position offers a competitive hourly rate and the accrual of holiday pay.

Overview

Earn over £500 a week, early starts, early finishes, minimum 7 hours paid per day! IMMEDIATE STARTS!

Role

HGV Class 2 Driving opportunities available working as a refuse truck (HGV Class 2) driver in Leicestershire.

Responsibilities

You will go out with the team of loaders to build up residential areas to collect waste bins, recycling and garden waste. You will be a professional driver who is patient and polite. At busy times you will be a great team player who is happy to support the team with any loading if required but your main role and responsibility is to drive the rear steer vehicle throughout the shift.

Requirements
  • HGV Class 2 driving experience
  • Full UK Driving licence with Cat C entitlement
  • Digi taco
  • CPC Card
  • No more than 6 points on your licence
Schedule & Pay

This is a great opportunity to work full time and ongoing with a great team.

You will work Monday to Friday with start times from 06:30 (earlier in the warmer weather) and you will always be paid a minimum of 7 hours per shift even if you have a shorter day.

You will be paid £14.60 per hour for this driving role.

Holiday is accrued up to 28 days per year, pro rata.
