Job summary

Resourcing Group is seeking HGV 2 Drivers for a permanent role in Trafford Park, Manchester. Earn a base salary of £41,808 with an additional £3,000 bonus, plus benefits. New pass holders welcome with paid training, immediate starts and overtime opportunities.

Role involves 2-person crews, early starts (04:00–05:00), 48 hours/week minimum, and 5–8 drops per day, with heavy lifting required. CPC and Digi Tacho Card are essential, and random drug/alcohol testing may be required.

• HGV 2 licence and CPC qualifications required.
• Ability to work in a 2-man delivery team.

Responsibilities

• Operate in a 2-man crew delivering to customer locations.
• Drive in a safe, professional manner and maintain vehicle standards.
• Complete daily deliveries with 5–8 drops per day and manage loads.
• Assist with heavy lifting as required.

We have opportunities for new pass and experienced HGV 2 Drivers to work for our respected client in Manchester. Paid training. Immediate starts.

A bit about the role as an HGV 2 Driver

• 04:00 am - 05:00 am start times
• 48 hours per week minimum paid
• 5-8 drops per day

What you'll be doing

• 2-man crew delivery - working with an experienced mate
• Driving in a safe, professional manor
• Completing deliveries to customers homes
• Heavy lifting is required

HGV 2 Driver - The must haves

• HGV 2 Manual Licence. Max 6 points. No DR, DD, IN10's
• CPC & Digi Tacho Card
• Adhere to all health & safety policies
• Willing to have a Drug & Alcohol test and CRC check

Pay Rates & Benefits as an HGV 2 Driver

• Weekdays - £16.75 ph paye
• £750 quarterly bonus
• Overtime £25.12 ph paid on the 6th shift
• Permanent salary £41,808 + £3000 bonus + benefits including CPC's, days off at Christmas, private health insurance, fun events, raffles with prizes including holidays & iPads
