Job description
We are recruiting HGV 1 PAYE Drivers for our customer who are based in the Dunstable area.
As a HGV 1 PAYE Driver, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Delivering to 4 or 5 stores per shift with a driver’s mate.
- The driver’s mate will take the cages to the stores. You will only be required to assist taking the cages to the end of the vehicle.
- Deliveries will be to stores, retail parks, shopping centres, and town centres.
- Ensuring the vehicle and load is always safe.
- Complying with all Drivers hours and WTD.
The ideal candidate will have the following:
- Minimum of 1 year’s HGV 1 Experience.
- No more than 6 points.
What we are offering:
- Thursday, Friday & Sunday shifts guaranteed.
- Additional shifts available.
- Start times between 12:00 and 00:00 (choose your own 2-hour window).
- Shifts are hours per day.
- Guaranteed 10 hours minimum pay per shift.
- Paid breaks.
- Uniform provided.
- Full induction & on the job training.
- Road Skills online training.
- Blue light support.
PAYE Rates:
- Weekday PM - GBP22.22 per hour (GBP24.90 inc holiday).
- Saturday - GBP23.88 per hour (GBP26.76 inc holiday).
- Sunday - GBP25.00 per hour (GBP28.00 inc holiday).
- Overtime after 10 hours at GBP23.88 per hour (GBP26.76 inc holiday).
