Job summary

Driver Hire Chelmsford & Harlow is seeking HGV 1 drivers to deliver across Essex and surrounding areas in well-maintained vehicles. The role is on a zero hours contract with flexibility for nights out and shifts that may be confirmed on arrival.

You must hold a valid HGV1 (Cat C+E), CPC and Digital Tachograph Card, with no more than three points. Strong customer service and reliability are essential to succeed.

Qualifications

• Full HGV 1 Licence (Cat C+E) required.
• Full CPC required.
• Digital Tachograph Card required.
• No more than 3 points on licence.
• Smart appearance and personable.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Willingness to do nights out.

Responsibilities

• Deliver to Essex and surrounding areas in well-maintained vehicles.
• Provide excellent customer service as part of the team.
• Be flexible for nights out and short-notice shifts.
• Work under zero hours contract and select shifts.

Our client supplies drinking water to various clients which include sectors such as, Construction, Facilities and Social Events.

You will be driving pristine vehicles and delivering all over Essex and surrounding areas.

Our client pride themselves on exceptional customer service and expect this from not only their own staff but agency staff too.

Due to the nature of this work you must be able to spend nights out at short notice so you must have the flexibility to do this to be considered for this role as delivery location may not be determined until you turn up for shift so being prepared to stay away from home is always a possibility.

To be considered for this role the following is required:

• Full HGV 1 Licence (Cat C+E)
• Full CPC
• Digital Tacho Card
• No more than three points on your licence
• Be of smart appearance & personable
• Excellent communication & customer service skills
• Flexibility to do nights out.
• Physically Fit
• Punctual
• Reliable
