HGV 1 Driver Nights 4 on 4 off

We are looking for Class 1 Night drivers to work 4 on 4 off.

Main Job Objective
As a Class 1 Driver, you will be responsible for transporting freight to UK wide airports and client locations. This is a great opportunity for individuals with commercial driving experience who enjoy being on the road and working independently.

Job Responsibilities

1. Delivery and collection of Air freight to UK wide Airports
2. Safely operate a commercial vehicle to transport goods and materials
3. Load and unload cargo as needed
4. Plan routes and ensure timely delivery of goods
5. Adhere to all tachograph laws, traffic laws and regulations
6. Conduct daily walkaround checks
7. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel usage

Requirements

1. Valid Class 1 (C+E) license with clean driving record (Min 2 years experience)
2. Minimum of 2 years experience of driving LGV vehicles
3. Previous experience working within the cargo aviation industry is an advantage but not essential
4. Ability to work to deadlines
5. Good geographical knowledge of UK roads
6. Positive attitude and smart appearance
7. Full 5-year work history with no more than 28 days gap
8. Cargo Operative Aviation certificate is required, but training will be provided if not held.
9. CRB
10. Valid DCPC
11. Valid Digi Tacho Card
12. No more than 6 points (No IN or DR accepted)
13. Experience with roller bed, fridge, and curtain sider trailers is preferred
14. Excellent time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines
15. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
16. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

In return we offer
Pay rate £19.00 per hour
Night out pays £25.00 non-taxable
Temp to Perm position
Nights Shift Pattern 4 on 4 off
Must be prepared to do nights out
