Job Description:

Driver Hire Motherwell are currently recruiting for a HGV Class 1 (C+E) driver to work on a contract with our busy client running out of Coatbridge. Work can include RDCs, trunking and store deliveries, so a flexible approach to work is required.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Various start times including days, backs, and nights
• Daily vehicle checks at the start and end of shifts
• Deliveries to RDCs, trunking, and stores
• Delivering pharmaceutical and store goods
• Loading and unloading
• Handball on some routes

Shift Pattern:

• Monday to Friday
• Every second Saturday
• Start times from 0145 to 0700, 1400 to 1800

Pre-employment process: An on-site induction and introduction training with the client are required before work begins. Contact us to discuss further.

Requirements:

• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to carry out manual handling
• Good timekeeping
• A valid CPC card
• Digital tachograph card
• No more than 6 points on your license (DD, DR, or IN endorsements are not accepted)

Pay and Benefits:

• Monday to Friday: £15.00 per hour PAYE
• Overtime & Saturday: £16.50 per hour PAYE
• 28 days holidays pro-rata
• Weekly pay

• Minimum 8 hours guaranteed per day
