Job summary

Pyramid Recruitment Ltd is seeking experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) drivers for roles at Heathrow Airport and surrounding areas. You will drive Class 1 vehicles, transport air cargo and general freight, and perform checks and paperwork.

We offer day and night shifts with competitive hourly rates (£18.50-£33.51 per hour) and reliable, professional work. A COD (Cargo Operative Certificate), CPC and Tachograph Card are required, with prior HGV experience.

Qualifications

• HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence required.
• Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card required.
• Valid COD (Cargo Operative Certificate) required.
• Previous HGV driving experience and knowledge of drivers hours.
• Reliable, punctual and professional approach.

Responsibilities

HGV Class 1 Drivers

Location: Heathrow Airport and surrounding areas

Pay: £18.50-£33.51 per hour

Shifts: Days and nights available

We are currently recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers holding a valid COD (Cargo Operative Certificate) for a range of opportunities with clients based in and around Heathrow Airport.

We have day and night shifts available, offering competitive hourly rates and regular work for reliable, professional drivers.

Pay Rates

• Day shifts: £18.00 - £23.20 per hour
• Night shifts: £19.00-£24.49 per hour

The Role

• Driving Class 1 vehicles in and around the Heathrow Airport area.
• Transporting air cargo and general freight as required.
• Completing vehicle checks and relevant paperwork.
• Ensuring all deliveries and collections are completed safely and on time.
• Maintaining high standards of safety and professionalism.

Requirements

• Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence.
• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Valid COD (Cargo Operative Certificate).
• Previous HGV driving experience.
• Good knowledge of drivers' hours and road transport regulations.
• Reliable, punctual and professional approach to work.
