Job Description

As a Class 1 HGV Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of goods across various locations. You will ensure timely deliveries while adhering to all relevant regulations and company policies.

Key Responsibilities:

– Safely operate Class 1 HGV vehicles to transport goods.
– Ensure all cargo is loaded and secured properly to prevent damage during transit.
– Comply with tachograph laws and driver hour limits.
– Conduct daily vehicle checks and report any issues.
– Provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional demeanor.
– Complete all necessary paperwork and obtain proof of delivery.
– Adhere to company fuel efficiency directives and maintain vehicle cleanliness.

Hourly Rate: £15 p/h Basic£18.15 p/h Via umbrellaOvertime paid at time and a half

Working Hours: Monday to FridayAveraging 0700 start10 hour shifts50 Hours a weekBreaks deducted.

Experience & Qualifications

To be considered for this role you will require the following:
• Minimum 1 years HGV experience (Required)
• Timber Experience (Preferred)
• Previous Ratchet and Strapping experience (Preferred)
• Valid LGV/HGV Class 1 C+E License
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
• No more than 9 penalty points.
