Are you a HGV driver looking for a new opportunity? Ideally with 12 months experience, although consideration will be given to drivers with six months experience.

Join one of Europe's leading plastic piping manufacturers as an HGV Driver ? a fantastic opportunity to drive top-spec trucks, earn great pay, and enjoy steady weekday work with UK-wide deliveries! We are looking for HGV drivers for trunking and delivering (multi drops) all over the UK to construction sites and builders merchants. (There may be some return loads.)

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure vehicles are driven in a safe, lawful and efficient manner
• Carry out daily checks of vehicle and loads
• Take all possible care to avoid damage to Company and Customer's premises and property
• Secure and protect goods on vehicle with due regard to axle and gross weights, ensuring maximum safety and protection during transit
• Safeguard, maintain and faster good customer relationships
• Carry out all duties with strict adherence to the Company's Health and Safety Policy
  
  

Personal Specification

• Good general knowledge and understanding of the geography of UK roadways
• Ability to perform physical requirements of the job
• Ability and willingness to work overtime and occasional weekends
• Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally with customers and fellow workers
• Category C+E LGV Licence, valid Digital Tachograph Card, valid CPC qualified
• C grade in Maths and English Language at GCSE or equivalent
• FLT licence would be of benefit but not essential
